Healthcare Researcher

Help advance healthcare through research that saves lives. Join top researchers in tackling urgent issues regarding patient safety and quality care—while gaining real-world experience that prepares you for a future in medicine or public health.

Oppertunity Description

Medicine has improved by leaps and bounds. However, few know that patient safety and consistent quality care remain critical issues - with over 200,000 deaths every year being caused by preventable harm. At BRITE Institute, we conduct research to reduce harm, improve patient outcomes, and bring equity and innovation into health systems.

As a healthcare research assistant, you’ll contribute to high-impact projects alongside experts from leading universities. Our teams investigate critical issues such as patient safety, healthcare equity, emerging medical technologies, and risk management in clinical and public health settings.

After discussing your skills and goals, you’ll be placed on a team where your contributions—whether through literature reviews, data analysis, or policy brief writing—will support evidence-based improvements in healthcare. This position helps build research, analytical, and communication skills essential for careers in medicine, healthcare administration, public health, or biomedical research.

Internships are flexible and can be completed remotely. Whether you’re preparing for medical school or exploring a future in health policy or innovation, this opportunity offers meaningful experience and the chance to make a real difference.
