You’ve built marketing skills—now put them to work for a mission that truly matters. BRITE Institute is a nonprofit tackling today’s most pressing challenges, from global pandemics to aviation failures to AI risk. We need your expertise to help us reach the right people, at the right time, with the right message.

As an experienced marketing volunteer, you’ll go beyond the basics. You’ll help design and lead real campaigns, optimize digital strategies, and grow BRITE’s visibility across audiences that include business leaders, policymakers, donors, and the public. Whether your background is in SEO, paid ads, brand strategy, or analytics, you’ll have the opportunity to make a direct and lasting impact.

You won’t just assist—you’ll own key marketing initiatives and collaborate with a mission-driven team to improve engagement, grow our audience, and support global outreach for life-saving work. If you have experience in marketing, you can join us as a team member or individual contributor.  If you do not have prior experiance or training, take a look at our Marketing Internship - which does not require prior experiance!

Team Member

  • Prior experience and/or training required
  • Free training and further education
  • Opportunity for lead major projects

Individual Contributor

  • Prior experience and/or training in marketing required
  • Freedom to choose projects as your schedule allow

Requirements

  • Marketing professionals, students, or graduates with real-world experience or credentials
  • Google Ads certified individuals, or those with experience in SEO, digital ads, or analytics
  • Self-starters eager to lead high-impact projects
  • Creative strategists who want to apply their skills for global good
  • Individuals looking to build a portfolio with real, mission-driven results
    • Open to individuals with prior experience or training. Some examples of adequate experiance are:
      • A degree in marketing or a related field
      • Certifications, such as Google Ads, OMCP, etc
      • Work experience in marketing, SEO, advertising, or a related job
    • Self-starters eager to lead high impact-projects
    • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Ads, SEO tools, email marketing, analytics)
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
    • Creativity, professionalism, and a strong sense of purpose
