Help improve care for service members. As a Military Medicine Liaison, you’ll share insights from operational and field medicine to guide BRITE Institute’s research on safer healthcare, decision-making, and emerging technologies in military medical environments.

Oppertunity Description

BRITE Institute is seeking volunteer Military Medicine Liaisons with experience in U.S. military healthcare, including operational or field medicine. This role is ideal for military clinicians, medics, researchers, or professionals connected to military medical systems who want to help advance safer, more effective care for service members.

Military medicine spans clinical care, operational medicine, and medical research supporting deployed forces and high-risk environments.  Your insights can help ensure our research reflects the realities of battlefield medicine, evacuation systems, and the unique risks faced in austere or time-critical settings.

As a liaison, you may share insights on emerging technologies, operational challenges, and opportunities to improve safety through better tools, training, and decision support. This role requires minimal time commitment but can have significant impact on research aimed at protecting those who serve.

Requirements

This is a consultant-type position. You can help us once, or provide us your insight long-term. Long term liaison are considered key members of our team and receive all the recognition of team members. However, the time commitment is minimal – less than one hour a month.

  • Position in US, UK, Australian, or Japanese military in a medicine related capacity
